Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Mimi Studio d.o.o., Trubarjeva cesta 79, 1000 Ljubljana, Slovenia ("we", "us") runs the 1000 Days website and sells the 1000 Days lifetime bundle. We are the controller of the personal information described here. Contact: [email protected].

This policy covers the website, quiz and checkout. Each app in the bundle has its own privacy policy for data processed inside that app.

2. Information we collect

• Email address, which you enter to get your plan and to sign in to the apps.
• Quiz answers, as categories you pick from a list: your child's age range (for example "6–12 months" or "expecting"), whether this is your first child, the topics you want help with, how nights are going, where you are with solids, how your child communicates, what you look for in screen time, how often you read together, the time you have each day, who else helps, and the goal you choose. We do not ask for your child's name, exact birth date or health information. Your answers stay in our database: we never send them to advertising platforms. Our analytics records which quiz screens you see, not your answers, but some screens only appear for certain answers (for example, the reading screen appears only for older children).
• Offer and purchase records: the offer and price you were shown, the amount paid, currency, status and refunds. Stripe processes card details. We never see or store full card numbers.
• Device and usage data: pages viewed, quiz steps, clicks, approximate location from your IP address, browser and device type, referral and campaign (UTM) parameters, and cookie or local-storage identifiers.
• Support messages you send us.

3. How we use it

• To build your plan, process your purchase and turn on premium access in the apps.
• To send transactional emails (access instructions, receipts) and, where allowed, emails about your plan. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• To understand and improve the website, including testing different offers and prices.
• To measure our advertising (see section 5).
• For support, security and fraud prevention, and to meet legal and accounting obligations.

4. Service providers

We share information only with providers that help us run the service:

• Supabase: database for leads, quiz answers and purchase records.
• Stripe: payment processing.
• RevenueCat: turns on premium access in the apps after purchase.
• Resend: transactional email.
• PostHog: product analytics for the website.
• Meta (Facebook/Instagram): ad measurement through the Meta Pixel and Conversions API (see section 5).
• DigitalOcean: website hosting. MXroute: support mailbox.

5. Advertising, cookies and your choices

We use the Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API to measure our ads. We send Meta technical identifiers, your email address in hashed form, and events such as page views, quiz completion, checkout start and purchase value. We never send your quiz answers or any information about your child to Meta or other ad platforms.

Under some US state laws this may count as "sharing" personal information for targeted advertising. You can opt out with the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information link in the footer. We also treat a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal or a Do Not Track setting as an opt-out, and in that case the Meta Pixel does not load. We do not sell personal information for money.

PostHog analytics uses first-party cookies or local storage. Session recording is turned off.

6. Children's privacy

The website is for parents and caregivers aged 18 or older. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Parents give us only an age range and the multiple-choice quiz answers listed in section 2, which we use to personalize the plan. If you think a child gave us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

7. Retention

If you take the quiz but don't buy, we delete your email address and quiz answers 12 months after you submitted the quiz. If you buy, we keep your purchase records for as long as accounting and tax law requires, and your quiz answers for 12 months. You can ask us to delete your data at any time (section 8); some records, such as payment records, may be kept where the law requires it.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including California and other US states, the EU/EEA and the UK), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or get a copy of your personal information, to opt out of targeted advertising, and to not be treated differently for using these rights. EU/EEA/UK residents may also object to or restrict processing, withdraw consent, and complain to a supervisory authority, for example the Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia. To make a request, email [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity.

9. Legal bases (EU/EEA/UK)

Performance of a contract (plan, purchase, access), legitimate interests (improving the site, security, measuring our ads where consent is not required), consent where the law requires it, and legal obligations.

10. International transfers

Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

11. Security

We use HTTPS, access controls and restricted database access. No method is 100% secure.

12. Changes

We will update this page and the date above when this policy changes, and tell you about material changes by email or on the website.
